You have three tabs open. One is a lawyer's website. One is a podcast about getting divorced with kids. One is something you searched at two in the morning and closed before anyone came downstairs.

None of them know your husband.

Here is the gap nobody talks about. Your therapist will listen, and she will not tell you what to do next, because that is not her job. An attorney will tell you what to do, and he will not understand why you went blank when your husband said one sentence at the kitchen table. Nobody sits between those two.

I do. Twenty years as a licensed clinician and more than a thousand women. Then I went through family court myself, on my own, which taught me the part the training did not.

Forty five minutes. Here is what we do with it.

We find out where you actually are. Not where you think you should be by now.

We map the next thirty, sixty and ninety days. What to do first, what comes after, and what can wait until spring.

We name the specific things sitting in front of you. Finding an attorney who fits your situation. Protecting yourself and the kids. Cohabitation and nesting agreements. The parenting plan. What to document and how to keep it.

If you are further along and already have an attorney, we work on that instead. Mediation prep, the parenting plan, whatever is on the calendar next.

And at the end, what working together would look like, if that's what we decide on.

Before you book:

You don't have anything decided. Most women on this call have not. Some are a year or two away from doing anything at all and just want to know what the terrain looks like.

I will not tell you to leave him. That was never my call. I will tell you what I see and what your options are, and then it is yours.

This is not therapy and it does not replace it. I am an LCSW and I am not practicing as one here.

You can cry. Most women do. It does not cost us any of the forty-five minutes.

You will leave knowing your next move, and whether I am the right person for it.

Most women who book have not decided anything yet.
